Nina's history with Phillip is incomparable to her history with Cane. Nina and Phillip had a relationship, were married, had a child and she was actually in love with him. Cane is still virtually a stranger to Nina and now he's a con who for the longest time kept telling her that he still considered her and her son part of the family when the reality is, they were always part of the family and he was the imposter. Forgiving Phillip and forgiving Cane aren't remotely the same in my opinion.
ITA with you that forgiving them both aren't the same thing, but my reasoning is completely different from yours.
P3 took off for 20yrs & left her to raise a son all on her own & in as much as I never liked Nina I know she tried her very best for Chance whilst raising him. Then P3 sends Cane in his place along with some ridiculous baby switching charade.

Chloe has made Chance no promises. She was actually quite honest with him, without going into a ton of detail about her feelings for Billy. Chance should realize Chloe is a woman whose marriage just recently ended and hasn't even been officially dissolved. I would hope that if he likes Chloe, he's prepared to take his time and wait for her to emotionally heal from the heart break of her marriage ending first before he expected anything to happen between them. It seems he will wait and I'm glad.

Well it doesn't seem like Chloe's interested in hooking up right away with the first hot guy she meets, or in using Chance to make Billy feel anything for her. Chloe has been honest with Chance. He knows she isn't over Billy yet, so I don't think we'll have to worry about him getting false hope from Chloe.

Philip's return may go down as one of the worst returns in soap history and the quick reconciliation between Jill, Katherine and Cane is part of the reason why. Only Billy and Chloe are maintaining the well-deserved indignation after being lied to for MONTHS.

Philip's return may go down as one of the worst returns in soap history and the quick reconciliation between Jill, Katherine and Cane is part of the reason why. Only Billy and Chloe are maintaining the well-deserved indignation after being lied to for MONTHS.

OhoHoho! Looving this whole story line. I think the writers are getting it good with Lane, Bac, and Ch-oe. Can i say i love the magnetism btwn these characters. Ohh, let the mayhem, massacre, and drama ensue(at least my type a drama, dont know bout my fellow Y&R lovers). Tehee!!
