A good number of people are not able to make it to the monday night meetings (due to their work schedule and other obligations and priorities). The pbca has been informed about this - many times. It also seems a number of topics are addressed before or after a meeting. Timely website updates/minutes for board meetings and pre or aft meeting discussions will work just fine. Ofcourse minutes send via email or postal mail will work too. Other associations have succeeded using these methods.
I have been informed sadly that I sound stupid on this video becuase I should know what is going on, but there was nothing in the minutes and no answers to my letters asking for explainations- I call this as I saw it - it is our assoications fault for leaving me confused and scared about this new road and the height, will this raised road cause me a drainage issue? Will this cause a landslide? Why is the driving road so bad? Is there a road plan? no one told me-not to panic.
Dear Claudia - If this had happened in front of your home for 4 years and impacted your private property, and had impacted your view, and if you had to inhale fumes, had dumping at 9:30 pm and at 7:00am on weekends and holidays, and if you had written over 20 polite letters to the PBCA PO BOX only to have them clearly ignored then you would have posted here also. I tried correct means of airing my very clear concerns only to be taunted this sort of construction is not in balance with the need.
For those of you with questions or concerns please attend the monthly Board meetings, this has been discussed at length at several meetings, with a geologist in attendance. I urge you to write your letters and send them using U.S. Mail and to the P.O. Box provided to the PBCA members. E-mails or U-tube is not the proper avenue to be taking this issue. I look forward to seeing you at the next board meeting to discuss this in an open forum where your concerns can be addressed properly.
□ no actual road repair has been completed on actual the Tangerine Lime tree loop this year or the last half of last year when the primary dumping contractor member was working pony club.
□ the dumping and grading is 25 feet from the edge of the road, so only dumping and grading of the new lot or road is on private active landslide is what I am addressing not road repair.
□ the TANGERINE LIME TREE LOOP used to be maintained in a better condition before all of this "Maintenance" effort.
□ formal letters to the PBCA asking for logical and ethical treatment, proper documentation and review a possible hazard and abusive situation have gotten no response.
actually i think what causes the landslides are:
-Constant coastal erosion at the toe of the slide.
-Bentonite Clay
-Rocks dip seaward
-Ancient slide surface
-Abnormal precipitation

Now they have two rangers with pickups paid for by the City of RPV tax dollars to patrol vacant land with guns.
They telling people to stay off the trails.
Don't the schools need the money during this financial crisis. The land moves 2 inches a day.
