does anyone remember a puppet character wearing a cowboy outfit 10gal hat, red plad shirt, brown pants, boots with spurs and he sang the phone number 765-4541.
Have 2 bowls of bran flakes and a banana at 8 am and the farts start brewing around 11 am followed by a lovely stiff, smelly , single shot "horse dick" at lunch time.
does anybody know whre to see the commercial from the 80s when daffy duck is doing his fire safety check quiz. A famous line from it was thats a no no too daffy
this is the sort of crap we brits put up with in the 80s- still, i bet you're off to Colwyn Bay for your holidays this year after seeing such a convincing advert
That Pontin's commercial will give me nightmares...with the clown and the dummy and the transvestite...thank God I was a baby and in California in 1986...
The Gold Blend packaging was SO much better back then. I got dragged to Pontins in Prestatyn 1988 - it was horrific

It's hard to believe that the entire 'Shape' yoghurt family all latterly succumbed to bum AIDS.

It's true. They caught it from Rentaghost's Timothy Claypole.

I live in the States but it's funny how commercials in England relied on jingles in the 80s just as they do over here. I miss those days.

just think..these 80s fuckers are all old and wrinkled by now...it has been almost 30 years..
Time waits for no man..

Pontins advert with that clown and ventriloquist's dummy - enough to give kids nightmares

These are brilliant. "Join the Nat Pros" voiced by Robbie Coltrane I guess.

Re Pontins- For some reason I remember the now much-changed Warners doing an ad spoofing Alan Whicker's Barclaycard ones round this time.

"Is the MD in, I'd like a word",
"I'm sorry the board can't be disturbed"
That Branflakes ad made want to stick pins in my eyes, and still does!
Great stuff though, keep 'em coming
