@IamTheStev Yes, of course. F40 is kinda famous just because of the turbo. I didn't know about 288 gto. I know turbos are fun and really usefull, but I still prefer N/A Ferraris. They sound much better and blow off and turbine whistling just doesn't fit Ferrari. It needs to be loud and revvy. There isn't any better sound then highly tuned V8 in ferrari.

@ricepredator We can't argue about engine sound, because I prefer N/A engine sound and you love turbo sound, there is no right answer. But still, even at everyday cars, like Audi, Ford or any other, I prefer highly tuned N/A sound, maybe like Civic Type R or some 2.0 with 150+ HP.

This is ACTUALLY John Carmack's (ID software...Doom, Wolfenstien,etc.) turbo Ferrari. Car and Driver did an issue couple of years back and they couldn't really get a whole lot of performance out of it most likely do to the fuel injection/computer timing.Old vid.

The 288 GTO was twin turbo, as well. But both cars were V8s, the F50 is a V12. The Koenig car is awesome.

and the Ferrari 208 Turbo of the early 80's was turbocharged as well

Ferrari made those only for the italian market, the engine was a 2,0 litre V8, which was too weak when first offered in 1980-1981 and therefore it was turbocharged up to 220hp in 1982

and of course the legendary F40 was twin turbocharged and 1315 of those were made
