    yo man....MAD, MAD, MAD....respect illa J....

thats a HUGE boulder to carry...

  • peace to the whole yancey family

    DILLA DAWG FOREVER

  • he should do a show in albq nm

  • Whats with hip hop concerts these days? Its always corny white ppl in every concert I watch that are in the front.

  • Cos they're the ones that ain't caught up in dat fake gangsta sh#t.

They appreciate and PAY for the ral sh#t, WE DON'T.

We call em 'back packers' cos we wanna make our REAL rappers be peceived as lesser men than the fake gangster rappers who plague our tv screens.

The majority of music is Black and belongs to us, but the love of music is universal.

  • Not to make it racial, but Im black and I try to make it to shows like this, The PUTS, Murs, Time Machine and it is a lot of white people at these shows... But then these black people around me are just lost in everyway possible because they dont like to reflect on their days and see what they really like. These black people hear always saying the shit I listen to is wack, but thats just because they dont take the time to listen and understand and dont do any research on anything, theyre lost.

  • I hear dat. But its not all our people dont make us look bad like dat.

On a real, I don't blame my people. Anyone born from 1990+ would struggle to know anything bout real hip hop.

The music industry is tightly controlled by rich elite white men who've studied how to keep us dumb and shookin n jivin.

So we relate to what we see.

What angers me is dudes my age who listen to the trash dat degrades us.

  • And thats why I dont look to the industry to influence my taste in music. If you are one of those people that dont know what they like in music then thats sad because noone, money shouldnt dictate what music you like.

  • cause they know what real Hiphop is!!...

  • They have the same lips.

The live performance looked really good too.

  • damn he reminds me so much of dilla at times

  • He sounds like Dilla also.

  • illa j seems like a really cool guy

  • yea everytime i watch his interviews, the dj's who interview him say the same.. hahah

  • whats that last song at around 8:50?? its illl

  • Illa J - All Good ......... one of my favourite songs from "Yancey Boys " .

  • RIP Baatin

  • Illa J keep rockin'.

    RIP Dilla
