  • a lot of people join the army to legally commit murder of civilians.

  • @JohnSmithTheSecond Dear sir, thank you to upload this painful documentary. It really has great music, but do you know who composed it, or where i could find it. Especially the music played when they show the soldiers names. I hope you can help me.

    Thank you in advance. Philippe.

  • Thats the real side of war, sadly we only know about "our ppl" But there is as well the "enemy" families who have to deal with death of their beloved ones. The bottom line is that we all loose in war....only those who never fought and never will, win (companies, politician etc.)

  • Being an American soldier and having fought alongside of them, they are true heroes. I have the utmost respect for each any every service member who lost their lives for the same cause. It is very hard not to choke up while watching this.

  • Due to many conflicting reports both from the USA and the UK,I am of the opinion that the governments of our countries have been very economical with the truth.I believe the actual number of killed personell in the Iraq war and now Afghanistan is significantly higher than we have been told.Take part one of this,in the photo of seven men shown three have been killed and two wounded,5/7 thats 71%.Out of that photo the enemy defeated 71%,the governments figure of 300KIA must be far higher.

  • @silver760 I was thinking the exact same thing and the two men who were unscathed in the photo are probably suffering mentally...

  • but I dont agree with people useing familys who have lost loved ones for political gain

  • if you said that to my face id kill you

  • This is an extremely poignant film. From a US Army veteran, thank you for posting this!

  • The upper class family are controlled but when he breaks down I get a lump in my throat.

  • I think just trying to give off the impression of being stoical & emotionally-controlled, which fair enough. At the end of the interview he breaks down
