I was in the movie in 99, does anyone have it up on here? let me know please... it was very shitty what had happened to him.. Very shitty i know some things about his time in the pen at stony mountian..
@legend10044327 Unfortunately I think thats kind of impossible... He's pretty much lived the best years of his life in prison, Its one of the saddest moments in Canadian Law history and will forever live on as a black mark on Canadian Law forever.
Poor guy....I hope,he's happy now....And I also hope, whoever was involved in his wrongful conviction goes to hell....His mum is one hell of a woman by the way...determined and brave....My heart goes out to them.
I am writing a paper on the wrongly convicted canadians and I decided to focus on David Milgaard just for the fact that the man spent TWENTY THREE YEARS in jail..i just turned 20 and find it unbelievable that a man had to spend 3 more years of my fuckin age in prison for something he didnt do!! man's made of some unbelievable steel!!
get a book about this case; I know David well; met him in prison......I also knew Don Marshall.......another man whom served time (11 yrs) for crime he didn't do.....
Gail was killed on the coldest day of the year and it was snowy out, i know its hard to do that on a movie but yeah ahah, even a actually movie about it didnt have snow
It was very touching, after all who amongst us has not been accused of something that we did not. Though it may not have been to the magnitude of this story, we all need to be move aware before pointing fingers or simple following the herd of sheep. I think have done a wonderful thing for David and his friends and Family. Thank you
Very Well done. Is there a reason you dedicated your time to his story, or was it just a good story to tell? I grew up in Alberta, born in 74 I knew nothing of David Milgaard, till listening to WHEAT KINGS by The Tragically Hip.
Nicely made video. Tragic story for many people I'm certain. After my sister was wrongly convicted of a hideous ax murder, our family is on a quest to show the world HOW such a wrongful conviction occurs. Check out "Cheri Dale" here on youtube. Not as well produced as your video, but I'm sure you'll get the gist. Good luck.
We as Canadians like to think this can't happen here but unfortunately for David(and Steven Truscott, donald Marshall and Guy-Paul Morin) it does. The police and the crown should be so ashamed for the travesty they perpetuated on David and his family.
i think this video needed more shots of her walking down her apartment stairs.
