@mrjumpingbeanz Green means in the early stages of her training. She had been doing groundwork but this was about her 10th time with a rider on her back. I apologize again for not only riding without a helmet, but posting a video of me bareheaded. I keep the vids up anyway because the pony is no longer with us so I miss her and like to watch them sometimes :-(
i have been trying to make my horse canter for ages and he just wont do it u will sit in ur trot and kick but he just speeds up in his trot. help me plz!!!
Good point - I shouldn't have been riding without one. Sorry for setting a bad example, everyone. Don't forget your helmet, especially when someone is filming you...
I have a young QH filly that just came back from training, knowing how to walk and trot, but has never loped, because she's too small for her trainer. I'm small enough, but a little worried about her bucking. She's bucked me off once, and I didn't have time to start turning her?
This is about her 10th ride. She had bucked me off once. You can see she was unbalanced & didn't know leads. She has a specific problem: LF club foot, causing problems cantering around a turn on the right lead. This is managed with trimming. In the breaking process I ponyed her in the big arena (not round pen) with tack on at a canter - no rider. Also you see me sit deep while cantering; don't know if experts approve but it's I did with her to avoid a little "hop" pitching me forward :)
what is a green horse?

That's pretty cool! Was that her first time?
