Richie's performance was so good - best performance of the entire telethon. Would be nice if it could be downloaded from iTunes with $ going to MDA. Hope he makes a return for Telethon 2012. Loved his song choice and interpretation. He's such a classic and we were priviledged to have him donate his time and talents along with the others.

Hell, Jon took the band out on tour without Richie, when he went into rehab. If I would have had tickets to that show, I would have been very disappointed. I'm pretty sure the fill in guitar player did well, but Richie is a strong voice in Bon Jovi (Stronger than Jon's, listen to any live concert when Richie steps up for background vocals... smokin'!)

I'm happy Richie stepped out to play public, he still has it.

he's had better times... :( why didn't he sing Rosie, Wanted or Stranger? I think these two songs don't fit to him.

@DonWaldone As much as I would have loved to have heard any of those 3, Rosie and Stranger just aren't known well enough or sufficiently identifiable to make an impression in the mainstream which in itself is criminal in my opinion. :( Why he didn't do Wanted? Well that surprises me too but maybe he was going for a theme that Wanted didn't quite fit. :)

That all said though way to Go Richie! Gotta love those bluesy tones. :)
