Oh my~ I think if you went back to Korea again, you would be shocked by how much it has changed! Seriously it is a really fast developing country. I went to Korea this past summer, I did not notice any bad smells or see people squatting on the sidewalk. You NEED to go to a city if you think places are run down. Driving IS terrifying, and mosquitoes are horrible. Also they wouldn't let me keep a fan on all night. MOST celebrities and movies there are Korean now though. LOVED my experience there!

Aww very interesting! Koreans are very good at knock-offs. I love my "fake" coach purses. I spent a month on Seoul. And they can make any clothing item from just a picture. It really is a quality garment when they're finished (you just have to supply the thread or the item will fall apart at the seams).
