Paterno thinks thinks he's god-like and makes moral judgements not for the welware of children but to protect his" legacy" and his cherished football. Something is radically wrong at Penn State. Why would they build a over sized bronze statue of Paterno while the guy is still living? Not even the founding fathers or ex presidents get that treatment. Now it has all come crashing down. The only thing JoePa will be remembered for is being a pedo enabler by letting Sandusky roam freely on campus.

If you have read the grand jury report and believe paterno is a criminal then you are just dumb or lack any sense of knowledge. Paternos name was mentioned under 3 times in the report. Also, all incidents other than the first and last were when no one was in the building/ by the showers. A lengthy investigation was under way by the third victim. In two decades joe pa will be considered a legend.

He is a legend and always will be. You are right about the facts...nobody knows them all right now. Reserve judgement for when all comes out. It could have all ended way before Joe acted. How would you feel if Mike McQueary was your son? Great job raising him. He saw what happened, called his dad and left the building. If he acted, we wouldn't be talking about any of this!

The statue will come down. Charlie Hustle is not in the hall of fame for betting on baseball. He's a saint compared to Paterno. This guy Paterno's morals allow the rape of "children at risk" and the complete destruction of their lives. How does that balance with winning at football. Some legend. The lights are on but nobody is home. Paterno is a disgusting shell of a human being. His stautue should be destroyed or moved to a hall of shame.

He proceeded to go to his supervisor who then went to the head of the campus Police Department. It is there where they investigated and chose to not press charges. Tell me how that is Joe Paterno's fault?

Too bad my Huskers and your Nittany Lions couldn't play a rematch game in the Big Ten Championship Game. Maybe next year. By the way, my Huskers only have 5 seniors on their two deep roster and only 20 seniors on their entire 140 man roster so get used to seeing them playing for championships for many years starting next year.

Despite what you think, Joe Paterno is and will always be a legend. He transformed a whole State University. He is not to take all the blame for what happened. Although he could have done more, obviously he does not support child molestation and the disgusting acts Jerry Sanduskey committed. No one with 17 grand children would.
