It depends on a LOT of things, first off the artist you're getting to do it. The size of your art/how much ink it actuely takes to fill it. If you do it in 2 or more sessions you may have to 'buy' time for your other appoinments or maybe even your first one, THEN there's how much time it took to get it done.
Take your design into a place & they can probably tell you more info

Actually, it all depends on the threshold for pain. The needle of a tattoo gun doesn't pierce the skin completely - it injects ink into the third and fourth layers of skin.
The worst spot, as it's been told by many people, is the ribcage. The skin there is thin and sensitive.

Actually, it all depends on the threshold for pain. The needle of a tattoo gun doesn't pierce the skin completely - it injects ink into the third and fourth layers of skin.
The worst spot, as it's been told by many people, is the ribcage. The skin there is thin and sensitive.

I have 60% full body Japanese tattoos. Most done with electric needles. If you strung it all together I have probably spent weeks sitting in a tattooists chair getting - and at the same time watching others get - tattoos.
if there is one thing I know for sure it is this - for nearly everyone tattoos fucking hurt.

So if someone takes their time with choosing whats really symbolic to them and not what is in style right at that moment then they will have a nice tattoo which they will not regret.
