It is always amazing to me how teachers can make simple things unnecesary complex.
The most dutch sounds are not at all different then english sounds. They are only WRITTEN in a different way. So OE (dutch) sounds like OO (english). IE (Dutch) sounds like EE (English), OU (Dutch) sounds like OW (in HOW, English), AA (Dutch) sounds like AH (English), IJ (Dutch) sounds like I or Y (English) etc. There a few exceptions. The Dutch U-, UI- and EU-sounds are not used in English. You need to learn it.
I'm a native English speaker from America and I just got interested in learning other languages, so I picked up some cheap books at the local Half Price Books on Dutch and Russian (obviously to be studied one at a time). While I expect Dutch to be a little easier since I can already speak German, it was great to see this video up and really give an auditory representation of these vowels. It was quite puzzling when only reading about them. This is the first result for "dutch vowel" btw. Thanks!
This is my first time seeing the video. The sound quality is not always consistant. Also the cameraman or camerawoman is shaking the camera too much, and the video is shot on an angle that is not straight toward the teacher. If you can correct these problems, it would be more interesting. Thanks.
Excellent........ thanks for posting!

@MrHuet1824 Thanks for the critique. Conditions are not always ideal. We must work with what we have. Best of luck.
