i was born in the 90s, and after listenin to all the popular crap that came out when i was a kid, im so glad i found bands like dokken and megadeth and cacophony and skid row and winger. they all shred sooooooooo much harder than the bs thats on the radio now!!!!
Rock on! I agree since I am 34 and grew up with great rock as a child and a teenager until grunge destroyed everything. Dokken is a great band and too many people have forgotten about them. They sound even better today than they did then. Lots of memories.
@pinkfloydinspace i disagree, while bands like dokken and guns n roses and van halen absolutely rule, nirvana, korn and pearl jam are fuckn awesome too. grunge is great i just dont understand why kurt cobain was so against big bands from the 80s :s
@cyprokka I kind of agree with you, though I hate Korn personally, and I'm not a big fan of Guns N' Roses or Nirvana. Still, to get the point across, I think that the 90's and the 80's both had very skilled bands, and there's nothing wrong with liking bands from both decades. BTW, I'm a big PJ fan and Mike McCready is one of my fave guitarrists.

nah everything before Pyromania is great indeed, but Pyromania and Hysteria are amazing I have to say! I think the band went into a whole new musical style when Steve Clark passed away..
wow its good to see some of the younger generaction listens to real music unlike all that cookie monster death metal crap these days, you should check out some other 80s metal as well, scorpions, michael schenker, ufo, tnt, theres a whole world of good music out there beyond todays garbage, not that all of its garbage there is kotipelto and brainstorm
And Brainstorm do have some decent tracks (the ones that sound like they're ripping off the 91' selftitled Vicious Rumors album) but their albums sound horrible, totally overproduced.
