  • CG will be dependent on your setup. Different batteries, motors, etc will change the CG. I recommend adjusting the CG until it flies neutral right side up and inverted. Move the battery, adjust the trim right side up and then flip it. If it flies level, then your CG is at the correct spot for 3D with this plane.

  • nice flying!

    suggested CG ?

  • You should try it at night with LED's, what a great buzz & gives your 24hr flying. The extra weight is nothing, trust me I fly mine more at night than during daylight....go for it & enjoy.

  • I don't know the weight of the motor, but if you do a search for Himax 2812 850KV motor on the internet, I'm sure you can find it. The KV (RPM per Volt) is what will dictate the size of you prop. For me, I wanted to use a 18A esc and 1320mah 15C battery. So with the 850KV, the prop that kept me below 18A and still gave me very good performance was a 11x4.7 slow fly. But it's always good to test your setup with a wattmeter before flying.

  • whats the weight of your motor and whats the AUW? is 11x4.7 good or you would like to change it ?
