@Kratosaurion9001 Shes only like 15 I think, and they're in their 20's. She still has some growing to do. Besides Carol the only exception is Ellise (forgot her name but I think thats it) who is 18. Rita was my favorite though, she is a baddass, the strongest character you can get (especially when you get the Uroboros chain for her) and shes very beautifull lol.

they could have a part about the creation of Exspheres from Symphonia.

look at the whole game and compare details to tales of symphonia. its a prequel. why? the summon spirits origins, why expheres would be made, look verry closly in symphonia there are like 7 kritia in it, all the charicters look like ancesters of the symphonia. the world is as big as sylverant and teth'eala combined and the geogaphy is simaler, flyn must be loyds ancester, zelos= estele, rane= judith, and so on

in ToV Mana doesnt not exist, even if we could say that mana was called aer back then aer was toxic while mana is not, and mana exist in any living creature aer is in the air. not to mention in ToV, a mana tree was never mentioned.

even so its a great idea for a prequel of symphonia

@marklenthecool There's a theory very similar to yours on the WMG section for Vesperia on TvTropes. The big difference is that it theorizes that instead of taking place on the same planet as Symphonia, Vesperia actually takes place on Derris-Kharlan before it orbited around the Symphonia/Phantasia planet. It also theorizes that elves are a creation of Kritya/Human breeding. You should check it out.

@Indextic there is also a theory about this game not actually being connected to the Symphonian or Phantasian universe. Tales of Vesperia's universe is a basic stand alone, those points you made are nothing but mere Tales references. If they were all true, then we'd have a huge mess of timeline continuity, since many Tales games references mana and summon spirits (aka Tales of Destiny PSX, Tales of Eternia, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Legendia etc)

@Nejitard2 I've seen that. But as long as hasnt Bamco officially stated the two games to be connected (like they already confirmed with Symphonia and Phantasia), I wont believe those theories.

Plus personally ,I think its much more fun to think Vesperia takes place in a different universe than Symphonia (as well with the rest of the Tales series). Think about it, the Final Fantasy series has MANY connections and references to one another but that doesnt mean they are in the same universe.

i think there is going to be a TOV 2. they ended the first adventure but there is so much that can happen (spoiler alert)

theres no more blasia and the entalacha are slowly dieing becouse they are omnibeings that stoped repeducing. there could be a quest to save them and the hordes of monters could play into the story as well. like, rita invents a new safe blastia like technolagy and it replaces bodi-blastia to a degree, and everyone goes to find why the entalacha are no longer being created

@FandeJay Although, Symphonia's sequel was a spin-off game (even if a sequel to a main game), and ended up contradicting Phantasia, of which Symphonia was a prequel (namely with mana), so it doesn't count. Destiny's sequel recycled only a few characters, and the setting changed frequently and was very different at certain points. Basically, original Destiny characters were just cameos. It was essentially its own game (well, except for that one character who got more than a cameo).

Sure, it had some good ideas and introduced some interesting characters. But they didn't really have to add all that stuff. And the Ratatosk plot that just fell out of the sky like, "oops we'd forgotten that", was odd. Just the characters' journeys of ridding the new united world of Exspheres would've been more than enough.
