in the biography i read jagger was in the front row having talked to jim earlier that day before the show. and pam and some guy she was seeing were a few rows behind
@sipikaa : I heard that Jagger met Jim in the motel where Jim would always hole up before concerts to prepare and gave him some acid! In John Densmore's book he states that something seemed off about Jim that night and found out that he had taken acid before the concert, so I wonder if those stories match up? Also, I heard that Jim was a bit put off because Jagger had Pam on his lap in the front row during the show. Again, it's not recounted in every book the same way.
@phillypitcher31594 According Lisciandro's excellent book we know that Morrison met Jagger prior to the show at the Alta Cienega Motel. Greeted at the door by January Jansen " Hi, I'M Mick" and the answer back was " you sure as fuck are."

@livebabylive15 Your correct Chub. Ray said that Pam was sitting on Mick Jaggers lap. And Ray thought Jim wasnt his normal self that night. He said Jim was either he was under the influence of something, or very uncomfortable seeing Pam on Mick Jaggers lap

@sipikaa ''The Doors concert at the Hollywood Bowl was touted as the rock event of the season in L.A. Steppenwolf and The Chambers Brothers were chosen as the opening acts. Mick Jagger and Jimmy Miller had gone out with The Doors to dinner and now they were sitting up front which no doubt added some pressure on Morrison as Jagger watched his every move.''

@sipikaa
in the biography i read jagger was in the front row having talked to jim earlier that day before the show. and pam and some guy she was seeing were a few rows behind
gpac200 1 year ago
