  • Do you have new shop?

  • @zanjani13 yes..much bigger

  • hello my brother in law has an older corvette 1980's im not totally for sure what year but the dash in it keeps flashing on and off and acts as if if wants to work i know it would mean the world to him if i could fix it cause this is his dream car and whats worse than a broken dream right could you possibly help me inbox me if so thank you

    \

  • @bizket1986 give me a pm and we will try to figure it out

  • Looks like the vette problem is fixed.

  • Does your dad do powder coating of those light bars if not I can hook you guys up with somone that does powdercoating and he does many colors other than just black.Let me know if it is of interest.

  • Those bars are sweet man! I'd indeed give the option to replace the hook with a connector for a trailer.

  • i wouldnt care if i bought a screw up one. aslong as i can get a few. i should this to my dad and he said he needs a couple to.

  • Could the issue lie in the dimmer switch itself? Or the connection from the dimmer circuit to the cluster? Since that's not working either, i figure maybe it's a good place to start? Good luck man, hope you get her fixed

  • If people want you to have a better camera, let them buy you one!!! Otherwise them 'em quit-yer-bitchin'! You try that tripod idea yet?

  • Pisser go to rasd4metta youtube channel. That guy will fix u up on your dash. Tell him Tom sent ya

  • It not a scrach it the fuel door.

  • And.......if you spend all that time on the computer.....when will you get laid?.....lol....lol....funny but true, right?

  • Cool vid Pisser....The old man is working hard! I don't think your camera is that bad, the only time I have trouble is when it is shitty light in the shop, but that happens in every shop and will happen with every camera. It is easy to say "get an HD" and really a HD is easy to buy, but what people forget is how often you do videos and how much longer it would take you in upload time to do all the ones you do in HD....just my thoughts...later

  • Hi bud I have a1999 buick century and have same problem you have with your vet digtal otmeter and gear selactor it goes off and on first became dimand finaly totaly out please if you know what's wrong with it or what should I try thank s and I love your ch

  • @johntaheri i have a 2000 century with the same exact problem as your..i havent looked into that yet on the century..i think that problem is a different type of repair to what i did to fix vette..it maybe a bulb isue with buick..not really sure though

  • @pisserschannel Thanks for replaying by any chance if you found out plz let me know .

  • 11:41 it looks like pisser Sr. Scrached his new truck a good one, in the front of the bed

  • @ericpinter29 i think it was glare or something..believe me,if it were scratched,it wouldnt be for long...my dad is fussy with his truck!

  • wouldnt miss it for the world plus it gets me inspired to make stuff even if i dont really need it lol

  • @triplextreme2 lol..glad to hear it man

  • it will be cool to see how it progresses threw the years

  • @triplextreme2 being the good subscriber you are,you will find out!

  • Hey man just subscribed, you've got a great channel, can't believe I missed it for so long but more footage to browse through I guess.

  • @redladderdallas thanks for subscribing man...there is a tons of vids for ya to watch!

  • hey thanks man about the lights.

  • @apn818 no problem

  • did you by chance you ground yourself before you worked with the boards on the dash ? sometimes static charges can do some funny things to computer devices if your not grounded properly...no pun intended , lol

  • @Rohan419 yeah..i usually stand in water and run a crappy extension cord through the water...plug in cord...feel tingle and work on electronics....lmao just kidding...naa i dont ground myself

  • awesome video pisser sorry i havent shipped out that stuff i said i was going to but my truck is unrunning again lol perfect christmas present right there ...

  • @paintballer653 no problem

  • Seems to me that wire was there to bypass something,in this case the dimmer switch

I would first unsolder the wire beside the yellow capacitors, hook everything up and see if the dimmer works.

Nothing then replace the capacitor,it's 20+ years old. They only can hold a charge for so many years.

Still nothing start looking at the connector maybe that's bad or a combo or bad bulbs etc

  • @Gazooo29 i dunno...but other than dimmer..its working great..i say roll with it!

  • Just guessing. But that jumper wire could be bypassing the transistor that operates the instrument cluster dimming? Should be possible to find that circuit pretty easy anyway. I guess there is some transistor involved since it's a LED instrument. 12volt from the nob will likely not work directly in the instrument and is therefore reused to a lower voltage (5volts maybe).

Just guessing. I have no direct knowledge on how that system work.

  • @Formula400Pontiac you may be rite..im just gonna roll with it..works good so far

  • Great Vids. as always, if it still acts up, you are obviously going to have to replace the Instrument cluster. I would look for a pull a part junk yard or any junk yard.

  • @OAK91161 there is a company that rebuilds them for like 250...but who knows how good or bad they are..so far its working great

  • and there built in america so that adds to the worth cant beat it the first thing i thought was lights higher and went to his site and bam the tbar i think thats a really cool idea it would be could to incorporate brake lights on it and tail lights maybe like a towbar with signal drive the price up for sure and like you said maybe a beacon or amber light

  • @triplextreme2 there is so many things we could do with them..we will just play it by year i guess

  • Another great vid by the one and only!

  • @Thedieselman790 thank you sir!

  • Damn. A corvette had a 85mph speedo back in the day too?

  • @ghtowagon yeah...but the digital part will read well past 85 mph...hmmm dont ask how i would know that!

  • I have the same camera as pisser I think. Mine is hd, my vids come out good unless I zoom.

  • @MrAdamseye mine is hd also..but after i use the flash player converter..it knocks em down to 360p

  • @pisserschannel It can take forever to upload a high quality video.

  • i love vetts they don't like me

  • @TheJuggaloVLOGS lol,why is that?

  • hey pisser! the fan on my 2000 f250 for heat/ac only works on the highest setting.....any ideas?

  • @mrrudedaddy blower motor resistor maybe?

  • @mrrudedaddy Its the blower motor resistor, I can gaurantee it. They are designed to give you high speed only when they go bad so you still have heat or ac. Usually located on the heater box near the blower motor and are pretty cheap.

  • @mrrudedaddy Blower motor resister, I can gaurantee it. Easy to replace on the heater box by the blower motor.

  • Hey Pisser i have a suggestion for the light bars, he should put another piece of 2'' box steel on top on under so you can still tow a trailer with the light bar on

  • @smokey1858 lol..we are thinking about something like that

  • neat trailer hitch stuff.

lmao I had a cheap plastic one, *nudged it on a guard rail in a parking lot in the winter*, cracked.

  • @utuberevlimitracing ya have to get one of ours!

  • I've been trying to take out the gauge cluster in my e30 because the speedo doesn't work. First you have to get the steering wheel off and I stripped out one of the torx bolts and haven't tried drilling it out yet. I'm picking up my first welder this week, I found a few rust spots and I'm going to be taking care of those first. bimmerwerkz(dot)com/forum/picture-showroom/1990-325i-restoration-74851.html
