If an artist or a writer is fascinated by the subconcious and finds challenge in the illogical arrangements of materials to express it, then we are right is calling him a surrealist. These "isms" reflect the currents of history and the pervasive spirits that sweep through any given time and space. They offer clues of what artists are about. They are not born in a vacuum. When you enter a video store, don't you want movies to be categorized?

You don't want to cook a goose until you have a huge pan for the drippings. Keep the grease and save money on Crisco. I am the voice of experience.
