  • its just a way of tying a saree that is explained.. they need not intend to dress in that particular style.

  • this style needs a brooch and a head dress,and i am afraid like da rest i would say "please research"

  • coorg is a state in karnataka,india,dere are 2 different styles here too showing dere caste or ethnicity,its happens only in india a surname or a style in dressing can show ya entire family tree.

  • in Coorgi style pleets will never come in the front...and shez doing it wrong as well..plz don't believe all these utter rubbish... and the pallu is suppose to rest in the right shoulder..:-):-) entire procedure of drapping the saree is incorrect..

  • @deepti61 Hi I'm doing some research on the various ways of draping a saree in India and Ceylon as part of my handloom textiles project; do you know of any links online that provide the correct way of wearing a saree in the Coorgi/Kodava style...thanks!
