I recognized some of those places from my visits there. Beautiful Halong Bay, Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi, and spectacular countryside. My wife is from Saigon. In Saigon, the air quality is bad sometimes, but it's a lot of fun. There is so much to do in HCMC, it's unlike anywhere else I've experienced. I'm American and I would go to Vietnam before I would go to Cancun or Bahamas. It's so special to me.

This video constantly makes me homesick! I wasn't born in Vietnam, but I go every year and it is amazing! Every year it's different and it's so pretty. All the memories in Vietnam are extraordinary. The places, the cuisines, everything. My family is in Vietnam and they always plan something different when we come. I was in Vietnam from Dec 1968 - Mar 1972 and even though it was not the best of times I met some beautiful and wonderful people and made great friends. I also felt the the country was beautiful then and I am sure that it is even more beautiful now that there is peace. Someday I hope to return.
