Yep, her name is Tisha Campbell - she like many of A Different World's cast was in the film "School Daze" (both School Daze and A Different World had the same casting director - Robi from Hampton U, which is Hilman is slightly based off of among many other HBCUs!). Tisha went on to star in "Martin" and of couse My Wife and Kids. Inside info: Jada Pinkett actually auditioned for the role of Tisha's character, but Debbie Allen was so impressed with Jada she offered her a regular role for season 5
