Sorry Pal. But they make a ton of rebuild kits and my advice ( cause i did this and it worked out mint!) is to find a chevy or GMC dealer who has older mechanics still. chances are he'll be a wiz at rebuilding that carb. throw him a 50 and the rebuild kit you got at the local parts store and i'll bet that motor will run so smooth you could set a cup of coffee on the motor and not spill a drop.

I actually just got home from running the truck. It runs great now. I tried a 3rd q-jet I had on the shelf... Bingo! now its all good.
