There's a lot of countries smaller than Portugal. The problem is: we only have one neighbour and we don't have so many inmigrants in europe to vote for us, like Turkey, Ukraine, etc have.... You should recognize the truth, it's a politic contest... Every year the same countries get the best places, but not allways they have the best songs... people vote for the song? I don't think so... They vote for the country.. However Portugal are in the final for the 3rd year consecutive :D
