I disagree with contain591. There are certain tasks a teacher might give you, something that you have always avoided because of whatever weakness you might have (it could be something as innocuous as having coffee with your new friends instead of leaving, as you ordinarily would) and you compel yourself to do that. As painful and difficult as it is, you break through a hypnosis you've been living under on that one particular area all your life.
Literature and videos are good food for the mind, but the mind is powerless unless it co-operates with body and heart. That is why exercises and relationships are also needed, and that is why schools are needed.
With all the literature and video's that are out there, you don't need to join a group anymore. All of todays groups are not from G .You are much better off studying these video's and reading his books and staying away from schools and groups, your own judgement is your best guide. Search on your own without the guidence of the blind and you will achieve more than people in groups.. Alone you are a seeker of truth, or you can choose to be a follower of lies, con artists and whiners
