  • Holy crap!!! I just did this and no other stomach workout feels this way!!! This DEFINITELY works...I can FEEL it!!! Lol time to add this to my exercise routine! :D

  • It ain't no joke

  • Damn I'd die

  • @alisawyattfitness they say some pilates excercises should not be done more often than one workout every other day - would you say this stomach series is like that? Or can this workout be done once daily? thanks :)

  • you make it look so easy.

  • @MrsAlexandraSam sometimes it helps to press your tongue to the roof of your mouth because it relaxes your neck muscles. as far as a headache, it could be just hat your sitting up too fast causing the blood to rush back downward.

  • It looks easy when i first watch this video, cos u make it look so easy. After trying it out, i just realize that it's very hard and my leg does not straighten out like yours, i think i have to keep on doing it to be like u. Thank you^_^

  • dear alisa, by saying doing it once a day, do you mean doing the final summarized section in the video daily? if i'm not used to doing these exercises and tire out easily can i still do them but with less repetitions? will that work? do these exercises bulk my muscles up?

  • I'm sorry it took me so long to reply on this one--neck strain is common when you start this exercises. If it happens to you, simply put your head down and continue the exercise with your head resting. When it feels better, lift it up again. With practice, you'll notice you can keep your head up longer and longer--this is because your upper abdominal muscles will start to strengthen up and support your upper body better. You can also add a pillow under your head to help your neck.

  • Hi, These exercises won't make your legs bigger, they will help tone the muscle you have and lengthen the muscle too, especially the side kicks where you're laying on your side. To lose fat you want to work out every day--toning exercises like this workout plus doing something vigorous like jogging, and don't eat any junk food :).

  • she makes it look so eligant and easy.

  • How long do you suggest doing this? Five of each, resting, and doing it again until you've done it like six times or something? (And I'm guessing it should be every day ...)

  • You can just do this routine 1x a day! If you do it over and over you will burn out, there's more benefit in letting your muscles recover. If it's too easy, try going slower and concentrate on your form.

  • this is great! but how many reps on the whole?

  • This is really great! I wasn't expecting to feel this much of a difference after doing this, but you definitely proved me wrong! I have prom soon and I really want to become even a little more fit so I can really feel good in my dress. I'm going to do this everyday. Thanks for the video! :)

  • Why does the neck feel sore while doing the exercise? Is it expected from a beginner? I end up stopping and needing to rest because I can't hold the neck position up.

  • Hi, It's very common as a beginner for the neck to work too hard as the upper ab muscles strengthen up. Once you can hold yourself up from your abs, your neck won't bother you anymore. If your neck gets tired you can put your head down and continue the exercise with it resting. Just lift it up again when it feels better. Also, when you come up, think of bending your ribcage to lift. It should start to feel better after a week or two of practice. Alisa

  • ouch....my belly hurts lol

  • Hello, i want to tone up for my holiday in April and your video seems most appealing. How often should i do these excersises and how long will it take to see a visible result? Can i eat normally or do i have to cut down my calories for a quicker result? Much love thanks

  • if i done this little effective routine in the morning & before i went to bed for a week do you think i would see a result?

  • I admit I have some fat, not much but if I do this will I just have abs underneath my fat? Or will I start getting a flat belly?

  • Hello! You are awesome :) . Can I do these exercises twice a day , 7 days in a week and loose my "stomach heaping" without having a diet ?

  • Please tell me .

  • Hey, I really really enjoy and love your videos! Just wanted to thank you for handing them out and giving everyone support, Though I've one question:

If I do this exercise will I turn out to have more a slender belly or a more muscular one?

    Thanks if reply :)

  • Hi, That's a really good question. You will build more muscle with this workout but that will also help to flatten your belly because it pulls everything in and up and narrows your waist.

  • Hey Everyone! I just wanted to say thank you to you all for your comments! I'm really grateful for all the feedback and positive thoughts. I've been busy finishing a beginner video but will post some new workouts soon. Keep up the workouts! Alisa

  • As always, great instruction, form and personality. A big Thank You!

  • wow I just did the whole video.and my abs are hating me right now..I love this exercises. Thanks so much Alisa

  • Wow your stomach must be as hard as a rock. I like these exercies. I'm going to start doing them tomorrow...I'm not just saying that. You are excellent.

  • Amazing! ;)

  • your responses to people's questions and your positive attitude is what is going to make me subscribe! How many times should pilates or ab exercises be done in a week?

  • I swear that having a positive attitude makes getting shape so much easier! You can do Pilates every day, the exercises are all about using your whole body, not just your abs so they won't hurt you. Use common sense and take a day off for recovery if you feel too sore.

  • you can do pilates every day, just take a day off if you feel too sore :).

  • This is the first day i'm working out and your videos were very helpful. I am 16 and i'm 127 pounds. I used to be thinner but i gained a lot of weight over the last year and developed stretch-marks.... now i want to tone my body up and i decided to combine these exercises with a healthy diet.Thank you!

  • Hey alisa.. i am start feeling change in stomach size.. thank you..

Please add some more videos of u, we all love to hear u.. Ur voice is so motivating man... Add anything for ur fans..we all waiting to hear u and see u again ... Bye Take care........

  • Yay! Congratulations on changing your body, this method really works, but YOU are the one who is making the effort so GREAT job! I'm hard at work on some new DVD workouts and will be posting pieces of those soon. Keep it up!

  • It really works for me!!!!Thank you Alisa

  • Thank you so much! I will try that before my next workout to make sure I'm getting it.

  • could you maybe clarify more on what if means to 'scoop/pull your abs in' ??? I don't know if I'm doing it correctly.

  • Yes absolutely! Lay on your back with your hands on your belly and feel what happens when you pull your navel in and up. That is the 'scoop' I'm talking about in the video. You might not feel this very strongly as a beginner because your muscles haven't yet developed enough to feel the action and you might find your stomach wants to stick out instead of scooping in. Keep at it--I find it takes at least 5 sessions to 'get it' and then the exercises really start to sculpt your abs!

  • thank you so much! this was sooooo helpful!!!! I am trying to get my body ready for summer.

  • sexyy

  • oh i feel the burn alright! this freaking hurts! but its totally worth it!

  • Do You have any suggestions for toning arms? i dont want big bulky muscles just smoother toned arms. my arms are bing wings just a bit flabby! :S

  • I'll be coming out with an arm workout this year so check back here often!

  • hiee!!.. i saw ur stomach serie & goin to practice it from tomorrow.. please suggest how many times i should do it for fast results.. my stomach is 5-6 inches outward and looks like pregnant women and due to this i feel very under confident & feel depress sometimes.. please suggest for faster results..

my height is 5.3" with body weight 65, age 25

  • You should do this workout once a day and try your best to pull your belly button in towards your spine when you practice. Do it EVERY DAY for 1 MONTH. There is no easy or faster way to make it work, you have to do it consistently. Measure your waistline 1x a week and write down the results, that will keep you going because you'll see a change after 1 week! Thanks for writing, good luck!!

  • Dear Alisa,

How many times should I do this to to get a stomach like Megean Fox!??? I really want a flat stomach and to keep it that way! I really like this because it burns and I know that i am burning calories and stomach fats! Thank you very much!

  • Do it once every day and you should feel the difference in a week! Keep going and you'll see your body start to look different in another week! Don't give up!

  • Hi Alisa! I have a very quick question... how many set do you have to do this exercises? I usually do this stomach series after the 'SEXY LEGS in 8 min' exercises.

  • Hi! You only need to do it once to get stronger. If you're not feeling the burn, try adding more reps until you can do 10 of each exercise.

  • Ohh I feel the burn! This exercises are great, thanks so much for posting and replying! Take care!

  • Hi Alisa.. i really like ur video.. i have never done any pilates before, this is new form of workout for me.. and i really need ur suggestion before starting... Do i need to practice some other warm up exercises before starting these movements u shown in this video... plz reply.. take care.. :)

  • No, you can do these exercises without a warm up! Just make sure you put your head down if your neck gets too tired and support your back by putting your hands under your tailbone for the one where you lower both of your legs. You will get stronger quickly so do them every day!

    Alisa

  • Hi! thanks alot dear for replying.. take care :)
