  • @thatrudyguy You can hit the B key to access the blade tool.

  • @cpukid00 THANKS :D

  • THANK YOU SO MUCK I DIDN'T THINK THERE WERE ANY TUTORIALS OF THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks alot! I Didn't know you could drag that retiming thing :L

  • I have a question. Do you know how to import stills for time lapse use in fcpx? I can't seem to figure it out without having to use Quick time.

  • @cheesun124 Stills as in pictures? If so, you can import them like any video clip.

  • Can you make a tutorial doing basic stuff like cuting videos, using effects and colour correction so us begginers get learn to basics first :)

    Thats just my thoughts :)

  • hey bro my 5 year old son said dad you have to watch this video he is super smart just saying keep it up you inspired my son to try and steaal this program

  • Anyhting you think noobs would find useful. I'm used to vegas and have no idea what im doing on final cut D':

Maybe you could make a series? like one a week? =)

  • Thanks please do more because i am not used to the new layout of final cut pro x

  • @TheRecon4 Are there any specific tutorials that you'd like to see?

  • Do you know how to do decent slow motion?

  • @butcherneck Simply activate retiming over the clip like shown in this video, but drag the green bar to the right.

  • @cpukid00 Will do so. I'm just curious if the whole slow motion can be more "smooth".

  • @butcherneck Well the smoothness of the slow motion depends on your camera, not the editor. The more frames per second your camera records, the smoother things will be at slower speeds. The app will do it as smoothly as it can, but it can't make a 30 frame per second clip look amazing in super slow motion. It simply can't be done. However, you can get some smooth results from slowing it down a decent amount.

  • @cpukid00 Basically you're right. My camera does 60 fps and I'd like to slow that down a bit more, BUT - I've seen some videos slowed down to 1000fps and that looked just amazing. Some plugins were used for sure.

  • @butcherneck Nope, you can have a "morph" slow-mo, but anything like 1000fps is within the $700 camera.

  • @thewowcreators sure, I'm not talking about getting this directly out of the camera :)

  • @SuperZinger17 Thanks for watching!

  • More tuts please! I'm used to vegas and final cut pro x baffles me! =P

  • I would love to do more! Do you have anything in particular you'd like to see done?
