I watched this young man grow up. We lived in the same town in Fairfield Ill. It is exciting to know and watch his talent grow.

He's one of the few last true traditional country voices in the industry today. If you don't like this song, start listening to a different style of music! He's now in a band called The Revenge, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna make it big. Check 'em out on the Billy Block Show on here.

This is a great song. It always makes me smile. He's so right - most midwest county folk can't afford a trip to the beach or else wouldn't want to go. Kenny Chesney's "She thinks my tractor's sexy" meant more to me than any of his beach songs EVER will. Stick to what your audience knows and appreciates. If people were ticked off by this song, that's just silly.  He isn't trying to attempt some sort of coup. He was opening for Tim McGraw for goodness sake.

I think you're missing the point. He's RIGHT. The lyrics probably pissed a few people off and didn't help his career out much. I have a band that plays on the weekends and we got slammed with requests to cover it as soon as the radio stations started playing it. Plenty of people actually liked the song. If talent had anything to do with it, you'd be hearing acts like Lance Miller, Dale Watson, Elizabeth Cook, etc. and Carrie Underwood would be on the pop charts where she belongs.

This kind of crap is what CAUSED ME TO GIVE UP my license to be a DJ/Radio Announcer. To make fun of some of the best country music makers in the U.S. is beyond me. Who in the hell are you imitating? You have two good musicians with you, but they don't matter for your lyrics. Too bad they don't go out on their own..........

Good voice, but I am very dissappointed in the words. Almost sounds like you are making fun of other singers-Buffet-Strait-Toby K- and the current Entertainer of the Year Kenny. Maybe you should sing about the beach. Fans seem to love it!!
