I'm not saying the Americans created the accents, but it bloomin' well sounds like it. They're the ones that take the (insert word here) out of the British. Well, the English, actually.
I've heard the "Australian" accent that the Americans think on various shows. Is it the "Oi say, mate! Crikay!" rubbish? I've actually seen a show set in Australia and the people don't sound like that at all.
Well, ah well. Americans just have the wrong idea. (and it's my quest to stop it!)
Not to steal your spotlight, but this accent that you believe is intended to mimic an English accent is not. In fact it is an American accent similar to that of Franklin D. Roosevelt and others of the wealthy aristocratic society. This accent is not common, but it is 100% American. Listening to the average Aussie or Brit trying to pull off most American accents is quite comical for Americans as well. Don't get too pompous, you might be mistakenly presumed as unneighborly. . . neighbor.

I love how the english in Britain and the english in America are treated as two different languages.
And. . . in a sense, they are! ^-^

They really should have used this stuff in the movie. It would have been even better,

It's rare that a liscensed game manages to improve upon an adapted scene without directly ripping it from the movie.

@Ginormica1999 how can he be an idiot? ,just look at that brain!
remanuelmr 2 years ago
It's not the size of the brain that counts, it's what you do with it........
Okay, so he uses a lot of it to make weapons to conquer, it doesn't mean he's smart about other things.
buckmana 2 years ago
And how he speaks that many languages?
remanuelmr 2 years ago
@buckmana:
"There's a lot of innocent people on Earth! You can't just destroy it!"
"There were many innocent people on my planet as well!"
"Look, I'm sorry your planet was destroyed..."
"Oh, don't be, I was the one who destroyed it!"
WTF? Galaxhar may be super-intelligent, but he's f**king crazy.

@useraccount333 it's said that insanity and genius are two sides of the same coin.
I guess that is definitely true in Galaxhar's case.

Ah, Dreamworks, when will you learn that English people don't sound like that...
My friends say that I'm posh and, actually, I don't sound a bit like that, I can tell you!
Quite funny though, I suppose.

I've often wondered where the heck these accents come from myself.
I'm Australian and I don't sound one bit like the stereotype.
Although, I did get a laugh when I heard a New Zealand friend's voice and he sounded like the "Ocker Aussie" stereotype.

Ocker Aussie is an accent. But it's totally fake, nobody sounds like that.
And yes, those words you cited are part of the stereotype, again, nobody talks like that here.

I did wonder about that, what we see there is the scene from the movie where Susan attacks Dr Cockroach, something Galaxhar did not see.
Did he hack the security videos of Area 52?

That's one of my favourite scenes. :D
What a creep.
I wonder if he watches them sleep...

Terra Firma (i.e: earth or the ground).
I thought it was funny that he was interpreting accent distortion as a language. The props for his announcements were also funny.
And for a movie reference, the teapot and cup are the one from the movie when he first wakes up.
