its a normal thing actually..one of the reason why the cat did that is because she feel secure and comfortable, sometimes cat also suck hand as feeling some sort of 'breastfed' their mom nipple..another reason is our hand produce enzyme that can help to digest food..and some people do have 'sweet' hand! my cat and kitten use to suck my fingernail before she end up sleeping afterthat.

My 17 month old cat Tonali still suckles my ear on a regular basis. She does have big teeth, but she is very carefull with my earlobe when she suckles;never bit or hurt me. You can see her going at it on my page. Tonali was 3 weeks old when she was separated from her mum and 4 weeks old when i adopted her. Suckling began right away.

THat is a result of a kitten taken away to early from the parent or it wasn't properly weaned either way, the cat feels secure with the woman so it's a good thing. A cat that i used to have growing up used to crawl up and and nuzzle into my neck and suck on my ear like it was a nipple. She would stay there all night if i let her but it tickled me too much!! It stopped being cute when she started to grow her big teeth too!
