I have NO CLUE which camera I should buy ... The Nikon D300s or the Canon 7D ... geeezzz this is like "Sophie's Choice" ... Some say the Nikon, others the Canon ... pfffftttt

Who cares if a company makes there own products, it means nothing. Take Fuji, buying the D300 body then sticking in their own sensor with Huge dynamic range. (but its crap right cause the bodies not their own?)

@ecyor7 okay... you're saying that fuji are crap bcuz their body are from nikon. yes its kinda true. but then, nikon are crap bcuz they are actually using sony's sensor. sony camera is really good. the current a550 beats almost any consumer level camera for its money. and the best of all. only sony cameras have the privilege of using zeiss lenses. and do you know that zeiss is the ultimate lens maker in the world? hence, sony could produce great images just like canon and nikon but much better

Yea its true A550 beats any consumer camera, too bad both 7D and D300s are flagship DX format cameras then eh? Nevertheless both brands have their goods and bad's, agreed? How does using sony's sensor make nikon's bad when after that u say sony's are good haha. Don't want to argue, it really comes down to personal preference. Give a professional any camera and the resulting pictures always look good right?

@ecyor7 well, i'm using alpha 350 actually. its a great camera for consumers and i agree that all got their own pros and cons. wanted to move to canon 7D but not so soon i guess. and yeah... its not really about the camera, its the person behind the lens that draws out amazing images ;)

@Xyb3rTeCh I've used both 7D and d300s image wise they're pretty similar. 7D has better video... great if your buying a DSLR for video you cant be called a photographer. Enlighten me on the aspects the 7D has over the nikon thanks. I'm not defending nikon or against canon. I just dont see the what you're coming from saying canon's got nikon beat

@Xyb3rTeCh That's what the videos show...Try both of them and u wont see as many differences as the videos show!Notice that nikon are much better cameras than cannon ones!

@matsas16193 no, i've tried the d300s before. their metering sucks. its not accurate and the video recording is really not as good as the canon. seriously, the canon can shot in full hd and blows nikon's quality all the way.
