Why did they have to kill him off? Judging by the way him and Drake talk to each other, they have an interesting past. But they dont even go deeper in to it. Drake just calls him an "old business associate" and in the next scene they have together, Eddy gets killed. -_-

Too bad they killed off Eddy Raja. It seemed that Drake and Raja had an interesting past. They could have used  Raja for interesting story scenarios and as a go-to person for access to the mercenary underworld; not to be used as a main focal point but someone Drake could reluctantly turn to for help once you establish the backstory of the relationship.

@mario74301 In UNCHARTED3:Drake's Deception. There's couple missions that take place during the events of UNCHARTED2:Among Thieves. One of them is called "Airstrip". When you progress through it long enough you will have to fight Zoran Lazarvich,Flynn and...You guessed it Eddy Raja.

Due to common misconception, Eddy Raja (don't mess with him) did not die. Instead while falling he killed the attacking spanish mutant with his golden gun, and fell into a large lake. Unable to leave the island, he then battled all the mutants in a one man guerilla war, some say if you come close enough to the island you can hear his cries of defiance 'DON'T MESS WITH EDDY RAJAAA!'.
