i've done several hotlaps of these two in gt5 on monza race track. the lambo 670 always got about 2 seconds a lap faster than the zr1 in their best laps. the reason is that the lambo always got a better launch from the tight corners due to the awd and on other parts of the track they are pretty even. both are among my very favourite cars.
The ZR1 is scary fast my friend has one scary as hell when your passing deer and all they are is a blur and then you say hey that was a deer and you passed it a half mile back!!!!

@cubano1389 You kinda missed the point buddy. The corvette is more than a motor and suspension upgrade from a regular corvette and costs literally the same for gm to make. Its sad that they would tack on an extra 50 grand to the price tag.
Leading is always harder then following, you know when to brake later then the car in front because you can see when his brakes go on and how aggressive the corner is.
@manchasterxxz its actually made of carbon fiber and unlike other supercars, the corvette is made on the conveyor belt as the Z06 and Grand Sport. Just because the price tag is cheap, it doesnt mean the entire car is of the same quality. Want plastic? Drive jap crap

even in a drag race when the lambo has the advantage of 4wd and paddles, the ZR1 would pull away-even in a roll race. on the track such as Nurburgring, the ZR1 would have a faster lap by around 10 secs.. ZR1 is slightly more fun to drive because it threatens to kill you with all that torque, but with slightly better aerodynamics and slightly more pwr and disp,at speeds above 170, the Lambo will take it-to me,they're both even,both r outrageous and fun, and both sound awesome-what more do u want?

@iPROFITDON an experienced driver. Cars like the gtr are the exception because of all the computers and what not doing 80% of the work. Nissans racing version of the GTR is RWD because they understand the benifit of RWD at the track.

ZR1 makes 638hp and is 800lbs lighter than the 2013 gt500.ZR1 tops out at 205mph and the gt500 tops out at 202mph.The ZR1 has independent rear suspension and ford has a solid rear axel, so in a race track like willow spings the ZR1 would beat the gt500.Plus the ZR1 has the performace traction management which will give you superior control when making very sharp turns. overall the 2013 gt500 is agood car but not to compete with the ZR1.

The lamborghini would walk all up and down the ZR1's ass. Better handling, better aerodynamics, more horsepower, more rare, and all around better to look at. Yes it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Chevy had to supercharge the 6.2 liter V8 and still came up 50 hp short of the Lamborghini that's a Normally Aspirated V12.

@TheRareone777 The alpha 9 package is $24k NOT including labor, so you can imagine another $10k easily. And it ran a best time of 9.95 ON SLICKS. Bone stock P2 ZL1's have run better. And the alpha kits are from a tuning company, just like Hennessey, Lingenfelter, Callaway, P&M, and every company I listed makes corvette's that will still blow the doors off that GT-R.

Corvette's also have very basic computers, simple to tune, unlike the GT-R's "tune defensive" computers. The corvette also has a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. The GT-R is 3 year 36,000 miles (lmao). The GTR also has a known crappy warranty voiding transmission, and a warranty voiding traction control system, the vet doesn't.

@yorktoncotereserve they actually are at about the same speed. the zr1 is rated at 11.3 1/4 and lambo is rated 10.9, though many people have run 10's with the zr1 (10.8 to be specific), hell the z06 has been reported to run 10's so the zr1 can probably run low 10's if not high 9's in the right conditions. don't underestimate it. Chevy understates their power while lambo usually overstates theirs.

even in a drag race when the lambo has the advantage of 4wd and paddles, the ZR1 would pull away-even in a roll race. on the track such as Nurburgring, the ZR1 would have a faster lap by around 10 secs.. ZR1 is slightly more fun to drive because it threatens to kill you with all that torque, but with slightly better aerodynamics and slightly more pwr and disp,at speeds above 170, the Lambo will take it-to me,they're both even,both r outrageous and fun, and both sound awesome-what more do u want?

But as you see here, the LP670, even with Lambos own factory driver can't pull away from a journalist on a track where AWD is an advantage. Care to explain?

ZR1 makes 638hp and is 800lbs lighter than the 2013 gt500.ZR1 tops out at 205mph and the gt500 tops out at 202mph.The ZR1 has independent rear suspension and ford has a solid rear axel, so in a race track like willow spings the ZR1 would beat the gt500.Plus the ZR1 has the performace traction management which will give you superior control when making very sharp turns. overall the 2013 gt500 is agood car but not to compete with the ZR1.

Lamborghini- 670 hp AWD
The lamborghini would walk all up and down the ZR1's ass. Better handling, better aerodynamics, more horsepower, more rare, and all around better to look at. Yes it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Chevy had to supercharge the 6.2 liter V8 and still came up 50 hp short of the Lamborghini that's a Normally Aspirated V12.

Corvette's also have very basic computers, simple to tune, unlike the GT-R's "tune defensive" computers. The corvette also has a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. The GT-R is 3 year 36,000 miles (lmao). The GTR also has a known crappy warranty voiding transmission, and a warranty voiding traction control system, the vet doesn't.

@yorktoncotereserve they actually are at about the same speed. the zr1 is rated at 11.3 1/4 and lambo is rated 10.9, though many people have run 10's with the zr1 (10.8 to be specific), hell the z06 has been reported to run 10's so the zr1 can probably run low 10's if not high 9's in the right conditions. don't underestimate it. Chevy understates their power while lambo usually overstates theirs.
