i was there for and 4th of july night was one of those late nights where the park is open late and Magic Kingdom was open until 2:00 AM and it was so full that night they stopped letting people in
I was actually not using a camcorder. I was using the video feature on my digital camera. The camera is a Kodak Easyshare Z712 IS. It's a great camera for video and pictures, I suggest buying one if you need a new camera.
dude i was there the night after that. i heading over to magic kindom like 5 minutes before it. the second night we were there (july 2cd 2008) me and my 2 older bro's went on splash mountain. when we were at the part where its show's the sign for critter country in the little shed right next to the vegis patch, we saw the fireworks starting to go off; and we were like niceee i was wit my brother in the second row of the log.
same here but I went to talk to my aunt who works there when the fireworks where over and all I saw was a lot of smoke from the back side of the castle and dudes holding hoses and the ground all wet
Lately Florida hasn't had many wildfires, and Disney is quite smart even when there is to keep it safe from starting more fires and such. I visit the parks quite often so I can tell you this. I know out in California, they banned firework use from residents of most California counties from setting them off in their backyard, but as the comment below me states, the show happened but was canceled due to high winds, which would have blown embers and caused fires. Thanks for the comment though.
Have fun. As this video shows, I was there on the 3rd, and it was a fun day. Just know, Fastpass and planning early will help you out big time. The crowds on Main Street after this fireworks show was incredibly packed and crowded and lines were long all day. Get there early, enjoy most of the rides before lines get longer, and then just find a spot for these fireworks, as they are a site to see and you do not want to miss them if you visit around 4th of July. Thanks for the comment.
That really sucks. From what they did though, did the show have a similar theme and similar style, or was it a different show with different music and such?
Everything is always more spectacular with Disney :) Happy 4th of July ! Thanks for sharing the Firework Show :)
