  • I remember this, I am from Shreveport.

  • I really enjoyed the movie, the ending was a bit sad though :(

  • great video, i alrdy saw it, the guy kills his wife, son,a old guy and a aold woman.yyyeeaaa i gave it away1!!

  • thats girl wasnt his wife, his wife died at there house, she was killed by the spiders

  • it wasnt his wife...his wife stayed at home...the lady in the car was just some lady that they met

  • I worked on this set. My friends and I filled the grocery store with all the stuff that's in there. Ray was actually my boss. My mom was the set medic. Pretty neat, it was the first movie set I'd ever been on.

  • What was the earthquake supposed to mean, in the context of the story? Did you hear anything while on the set about it? Fans of this movie disagree over what caused it, I'm just curious if you have any insight. Anything shared will be appreciated. Thanks.

  • @aelion88 the earthquake was supposed to mean that the reality that those people knew was being merged in with this other dimension with horrid creatures. its like when the tornado in kansas picked up the house in the wizard of oz and dropped in the land of oz...well thats kind of the the feel in this movie too

  • that was funny

  • lol, i love how afterwards they are all cheery and happy, but in the mive they are all terrified

  • HOLD ON!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this movie was fucking awesome, didnt suck at all, I think your taste in movies just sucks dick like you

  • lol it was gross when the guy falls down from spider web and his back breaks open and little bugs come out

  • its not 6 feet. looks like 30

  • I dont think he was talking about mesurments, he was talking about the creatures atuall feet

  • i thought there were creatures because they mutated.

  • IMO the earthquake was caused by the 6-footed giant from the end of the movie. I think the tentacles that killed Norm were attached to this creature.

I also think the mist was produced by this giant.

  • may be good.. others not.. sorry.. my keyboard is kindof stupid.

  • when i read the book.. i had a look in my head.. the great thing is that as far as ive sceen its looks just like what i thought i would be.. so.. for me.. this may good. others. its may such.. i hope not

  • gz...

  • It could have been the portal or the big like thing at the end...

  • One of the Best movies ever made next to"1408"!! Great stuff!

  • Sh!..., honey.

  • you must not know quality movies when you see them.

  • Well, if you're referring to movies of dogs that talk and become the heroes, disney films and extremely corny romantic comedies, then you and I have a different concept of what a quality movie is.

Now, did you wait 5 months to just tell me that? Well, pity, because I DON'T CARE. I like movies, but they're not important to my life. There's more to life than just seeing which movie is of quality and which isn't, so it's not really about the films, but about how you're an idiot.

  • Lol I will admit, my response was a little delayed, because i do have a life outside of commenting on youtube videos. I wasnt referring to those kinds of movies. I dont really care for them. Obviously we have different meanings of a quality movie because for some crazy reason you liked this movie. If the actors werent so terrible I may have been able to enjoy the half way decent storyline. But Im finished commenting on a horrible movie thats almost a year old that I barely remember.

  • Like I told you before, many people liked this movie, many didn't, like you. I think I explained the reasons why this movie is the way it is, but you still don't get it, it hasn't reached your little brain yet (maybe in 5 months from now it will). Everything about this film, the actors, the photography, etc., is paying homage to the 50's B-monster movies, the ones in black and white, because that's the way King envisioned his short story. (1/2)

  • It's okay to not like some movies, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and it's their own viewing experiences, but at least try to understand the reasons why this movie was like this. If there's some bad acting, that constant b-movie look/style, it's because it's on purpose. That's the way the director wanted this to be, and, again, it's not for everyone, but at least don't be an idiot who judges anything without knowing zip about it. (2/2)

  • lol, I didn't watch the movie yet but thanks for letting me understand what its about.

  • you parasites just don't give up do you? I think its time for you to head to the gulags.

  • That's it I want to play actress..lol

  • Just saw this movie! IT's so awesome!

  • Thank you for shooting this in the US. Tired of Canada.

  • its not the Earthquake its the Big Daddy walking.

  • Or mabye the portal closing or All the creatures dumping out of the portal at once? oooh i loved this movie!

  • ROFL. It's Michelin passing by looking for a tire

  • Frank Darabount got old!

  • so scary

  • I saw the guys head thats shaking the isles

  • it

dosent seem like 1 of the major horrer films

  • don't see anything funny here...

  • That's because this is a horror film not a comedy film.

  • I know that. Director sounds too happy in front of the camera!

  • I've grown up spending summers in Bridgton, ME- the town that stephen king set the story in. Everything from the story- Bridgton, Long Lake, Kansas Road- they're all real places, but the supermarket's actual name is Food City, not Federal Foods or Food House- and they're exactly like he described! Sucks that it was filmed in LA because it's so different from Maine's Lake Region, but oh well. In the movie, it's set in "Castle Rock" Maine but i still cant wait to see it at the Bridgton Drive-In

  • The fact the movie was made in Louisiana will not have a major impact on the overall look of the film, but I understand with you being from Maine it would have been great to have been there. But for myself and others who had the once in a lifetime opportunity to be in a film like this, we are all very thankful it was filmed here in our city. In spite of that, I don't think anyone will be disappointed! Thanks for the comment.

  • I have no doubt that this movie will be fantastic, and it will be exciting to see someone else's take on such a unique place/great story. I can only imagine how awesome it was to be a part of it all, and I'm sure this is something I'll watch many times over- on a cold day when the mist rolls down Long Lake. Thanks for your response!

  • expert shelf shaker hehe, hope the movie is worth it what m I saying s king is awsome

  • dude this is awesome!!! Thanks for the first footage on the mist, can't wait since Frank is my favorite director of all time! Post more if you can I'm subscribing!!

  • Darabont seems like a really nice guy, and a sweetheart to work with. Just a quick opinion based on a couple of videos...but still

  • It was a great experience working with Frank as a director. We all knew the shot was what he was looking for when he would shout, "Man, that was f***ing awesome." Down here in the Bible belt, we had to just grin and bear it and take it as a compliment.

  • I love the short story and the movie looks like it's gonna be a blast.

  • I always wondered why they hadn't filmed this -- can't wait to see it.

  • This is my absolute Favorite King story! I heard it was coming out, and was searching for trailers....thanks for giving me something better!!!

  • me three!!!

  • i'm in that movie!!

  • Me, too!

  • the story was AWESOME!.. i hope the movie holds up!!!

  • This movie is going to rock our world!
