It doesnt have a plate in the back. the claymore is a shape charge which is designed to fire in the direction towards the enemy. But it does have a back blast as well. It can throw shrapnel about 35 feet behind it and still be lethal to whomever is in its path. Thats why your supposed to hide behind something when it goes off. But what would I know CoD players know everything.
