One could make a case that Bob Crewe was the best rock producer of his era(s). He is surely up there with, or even beyond, Spector, although he never got the appreciation. And he never killed anyone, either, unlike Spector.

did any one know that bob crew was the first drummer for the four seasons. he played drums on many of their earlier hits. and bob crewe is considered the 5th season.
