@sandoval10: California is a case study in what happens when progressives have control over state government. Going from one of the most efficient, educated populations, and well run states into a basket-case in 25 years. A place where everyone believes they are entitled to the fruits of someone else's labor. Well, when everyone wants "someone else" to pay and no one is left to earn the money, you are in serious trouble.
FOOD&WATER BELONG TO THE PEOPLE,not politicians&greedy capitalists!/fed./govt.!Reverse the patriot act, stop global militarism,&hold these people accountable for their actions!Taking control of natural resources to control the masses is what it's about !What about geoengineering? No laws against spraying silver iodide in the air or dumping raw iron in the ocean, oil spills, etc.But farmers feeding the nation need a permit to detect salt levels?Protect natural resources&support your local farmer!
The water was not turned off by the EPA. the EPA deals with water quality. The water was restricted because by the federal district court judge's decision and the central valley project and state water project facilities run by the bureau of reclamation and the department of water resources had to follow CESA and ESA (endangered species act) guidlines. Your lack of attention to detail tells me that you have not done enough research.
what about the judge is an idiot bought by special interests and the all studies are a scam.
what about delta cities fabricating those guidelines to protect their ass when they dump millions of gallons of sewer water to the delta daily and need it flushed to sea.
what about collecting more water installing the screens for the useless smelt, that is a cheap fix and was ignored.
the water was going out to sea all they want is it to be pumped back.
The delta smelt is in trouble in this area because of non native fish that live there. I think turning the water back on wont fix anything if people are bitching about the smelt.
The government does this in CA and Oregon all the time. They cut off the water to the farmers and claim some environmental protection issue. Then as seen with the health care vote, they can conveniently promise certain Senators in those areas to turn the water back on and those desperate senators that have been begging for the water can then vote the desired vote. Trading votes. In the meantime, there are the farmers livelihoods put in jeopardy, and we produce less agriculture in the U.S.
@NorCalSoul And dare anyone speak out about these issues, they'll be called crazy, or dangerous. Prime example when Pelosi did an entire speech about how she's worried and scared because people are speaking out against these type of policies and she's seen this kind of thing before. Freedom of Speech is not a scary thing Pelosi. Even if you disagree with people, Speech should be respected.
I can see why it only has this many hits. People are not as dumb as the right winger want them to be.

wouldn't it be easier to simply control the invasive Bass population instead of blocking the water?
If we could do that with Pike, then this shouldn't be hard for bass

well you know who not to vote for next time. obama is a disaster and merely a puppet for the power brokers. how fitting.
