"out of it are the issues of life." Don't you get it? Ravi was speaking to all of you there!!!!???? i pitty all of you!!!!

I noticed Bob Millet sitting on the stand. Bob has worked hard trying to downplay Joseph Smiths slander of Biblical Christianity. His methods are sneaky and coercive. He's been tasked to make the world believe that Mormons are Christian. That bridge will NEVER be crossed until the church admits Joseph was wrong & that Jesus is the Mighty Word of God. "Isaiah 9:6, John 1"
Mormons please read Deu 4v35+36-39 Isiah 43-10 it talks about only 1GOD and no GOD before me. Galatians 1-8 another angel, Matthew 22-30 no marriage in heaven Mark9 v43-46 is about hell . Once read about a preacher say that the greatest blessing that GOD can bestow upon a nation is faithful preachers. He went on to say the worst the worst curse GOD can pour upon a nation is to give them over to false and deluding preachers. and last of all read Philippians1 talks about departing to be with GOD
As Man is God once was, As God is Man may one day Become. Its the same lie the Serpent in the garden peddled to Eve(Just Re-Packaged in a different form)
@aliveforYESHUAalone Mormon beliefs have changed quite a bit as far as I know. But there are many things that make them separate particularly from Christianity: 1: Their doctrines are the belief that you are saved by faith in Jesus AND works, for all mainstream Christianity it is ONLY Jesus.
Thier beliefs about a pre-existence and about the afterlife (Three Kingdoms for everyone (or everyone except demons and Satan.) They used to believe that God was a man who became a God.
@aliveforYESHUAalone 2 That Jesus and Satan are brothers. That God had a wife and that wife gave birth to everyone, including Jesus and Satan, angels and demons. Most say that they do not practice polygamy but can still be married/sealed to more than one woman for eternity. Plus, this is still in their D&C 132. They practice a thing called Baptism for the Dead, this is to ensure that people already dead get to the Celestial Kingdom (or one of the Kingdoms).
@aliveforYESHUAalone 3 Lastly, they all believe/know that Joseph Smith is a prophet from God, that his writings are true, their church is true, and their modern day prophets actually speak, personally with Jesus. I could be wrong though. Feel free to correct me.
Professing to be wise they became fools exchanging the Glory of the Incorruptable God for that of corruptable man. Its right there in front for all to see and yet I did not hear a single person cry out for Mercy ;-(
Isa 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.
Just speak God's Word and the Holy Spirit will do the rest.
Mormonism rather than being Christocentric is church-egocentric. It is twistology of theology, sedition of addition, and infusion of confusion, very radically unlike the purity, simplicity and power of devotion to Christ so gloriously lived and ministered by the church of the first century.
Every LDS member in attendance could listen to this talk and still not understand who Jesus is. They sit and listen in comfort believing they are worthy and their sins are small because they have paid Jesus back for his sacrifice.
@GiftoAll-you are spreading falsehood regarding the teachings of the LDS church. I love how you pretend to know me and what I believe. There is no small sin for any sin is paid for by the blood of christ. I respect you for your personal beliefs and I know that Jesus is my one and only savior. The book of mormon cant save me any more than the bible can. Joseph Smith cant save me any more than moses can save me... JESUS is the way the truth and the life for all of us "mormons"
@davisx2002 That isn't true. I know the doctrine of the church. You are on a treadmill of obedience. According to Mormon doctrine, you will never live with God unless you pay Jesus back for his sacrifice and perform ordinances. That is not the gospel of Christ. That is the gospel of Joseph Smith.
davis...... God magnifies his word above his own name. His word is pure. His word will be preserved from generation to generation. It cannot be altered without discovery. He is a shield. Do not add to his word or be rebuked by God and be found a liar.
davis.. Peter said Pauls writings are scripture and from God. There are many infalable proofs. All the apostles were eye witnesses, the word of life was manifest. Jesus was seen 40 days and taught the kingdom of God. John said these things were written that you might believe, and it is sufficient for you to believe. All scripture is given by "God breathed".
How sad that all the haters commenting on these videos don't get it.
You jump at the chance to attack Latter-Day-Saints...
You are all missing the most powerful point to be taken from Dr. Zacharias' words here.
Jesus Christ is Lord of ALL! Nothing here contradicts L.D.S. teaching!
As Ravi said at the beginning, "I am very aware that there are differences in our belief systems, and some of them are very deep; but... we find the common ground on which to meet, and talk..."
@TheOriginalAnalogKid Ravi was invited to speak because of his intellect and subtlety. "The differences are deep" "and to meet on common ground" are expressions describing a break from WAR. (The Word was God) described in the New Testament became Emmanuel, (God with us).. It was Jesus Christ, the Almighty God who paid for the sins of the world. A {spirit brother named Jesus} who atoned for sin at Gethsemane, who must be repaid with obedience to law, ceremonies and money {is a false god}
You seem to be a very intelligent individual, yet you still don't get it.
I have found that evangelicals and Latter-Day-Saints share about 90% of the same beliefs. They are worded differently, and looked at from a slightly different perspective. Most protestants are offended that L.D.S. believe they are Christ's true church, restored to the earth; so they viciously attack and try to tear down the church by focusing on differences in doctrine.... (cont'd)
90% of the same beliefs? Not even close. After many years of research I found the New Testament was far from Josephs gospel. The Bible tells us we live in a fallen world. From Adams sin, humans are no longer born children of God. Humans are adopted as children through rebirth of the spirit. God is spirit, He is a consuming fire. Jesus who is the Word, "1 distinct part of the infinite God" agreed to take on a body of flesh to become a servant unto death.
Evangelicals claim that all you have to do to be saved is trust in Jesus Christ, and accept the atonement he made for you, the gift of salvation. I have done this. I have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Will I now be sent to Hell if I choose to demonstrate my love for Him by my "good works", and my service to others?
You may think of me as a hellbound, fallen creation of God; but I believe we are brothers. I will see you after we leave this life. God bless.
@TheOriginalAnalogKid My work is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ once delivered to the saints. In Mormonism, the words and verse sound Biblical, but are misnomers that are not appropriate to the context. The nature of God has been changed. The atonement is completely different and happened at a different place. Works and ceremony precede the grace of God. Man is born good and sin is placed into categoriies of severity. Murder and adultery isn't covered by the atonement.

For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thank God for someone who still preached about sin instead of using life enhancement as bait to bring people to Christ.

Sitting in a garage makes you a car as much as sitting in a church, or ward, makes you a Christian.
