  • who's the old guy???

  • @Alphabex8 rupert murdoch. he's not a cool person

  • @nilbog44 oh! doesn't he own the media or something. i know the name, just never seen his ugly mug before.

  • @Alphabex8 he owns fox. so he owns fox news. therefore he sucks

  • @nilbog44 No, he sucks because the top 3% of wealthy people have no souls. And what's a human without a soul but an empty vessel fueled by greed. but yeah, i get your point

  • Gimme this over fucking Clash any day.

  • Quite possibly the greatest punk band.

  • @igott I'd personally go with the Wipers, but Wire would be in the top three at least

  • why rupert murdoch in the pic ??

  • @13crapa

Why not Daniel Pipes , Zbigniew Brezenski , or even Henry Kissinger ?

Because Wire were 'culture' (art) and Murdoch is a sort of culturetroll who supports war(mongering) .

  • @13crapa : i´ve got a hint for you: go to TOP TEN LIVE FREUDIAN SLIPS here on youtube and look at all the clips of the top ten, mostly from FOX NEWS, especially that retarded american slut who says:...."a man who climbed up mount everest.....BUT he´s gay.....ahmm.....no, i mean he´s blind......"

    field sunday for the papers.......

so u can fuck up my life.....embarrass my wife and leave ay bad tayste........

  • pink flag is an amazing album

  • Oh. Do you think he drinks tea?

  • damn. is that colin in the pic? he really let himself go

  • Naw, Colin has actually aged pretty well.

  • i would concider this one of the best sides of the best records ever, god bless all the beast and children too,rockonbonzo76!!

  • I saw Wire opening for Duke Ellington in 1946 and they were definately more of a swing band back then.

  • um...no

  • the band members weren't even born in the forties

  • Then how did they record with Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five in 1927?

  • a gallon of lsd.

  • @davmet09

I also saw them in 1946 ; in a dream

  • the wire : postpunk

  • WIRE is PUNK royalty.

how can something in 1977 be POST-PUNK? shiiiiit

  • Pere Ubu were 'post-punk' in about 1976!!

  • And then there's Throbbing Gristle were post punk before punk even began!

  • @heliumtrophy: (T.G.:)and always post everything and only to be enjoyed on helium?!?! saw them in frankfurt and everyone ran out & for their lives to the the next äppelwoi - kneipe....uurrrraghhhh, kotz......

  • @heliumtrophy eh i would say gristle was more a electronic band but they were industrial before that was even conceived

  • @boogster123321 I'd agree with that. Wouldn't fancy bumping into Genesis P-Orridge or whatever he wants to call himself these days.

  • @heliumtrophy haha yeah idk about her/im. i think he is trying to become a man and a woman combined so he can be one with his girlfriend who or something like that. either way he lost it

  • I would consider their later work more postpunk, but in my opinion I think Pink Flag is punk. Either way, all of their music blows me away.

  • ...what is puuuunnnk any waaay???

  • Which now, rooster or chicken?

My mix goes seamlessly from "it's so obvious" to "brazil". What could be better?

  • GREAT way to start the day! thanks for making this playlist!

  • this is so great-thanks

  • thanks so much. this is my favorite punk record.

  • thanks for putting this up here. It's great!
