I (David Beebe)was the drummer on that session. The Dazzling Pete Gray (Mojo Nixon's Band) played piano. The other guitarist is Chuck Barry's son Charles. Harmonica was done by his daughter. The bass player (I forget the name) is his regular bassisty from St Louis (Blueberry Hill club). Allen Hill was the backup bassist. It was a great show and Gary Clark Jr rocked the opening set. My favorite song from that night was "Nadine". - DB
Hey man I have seen you playing with Allen Oldies, elorbits, doing sessions with André Williams and many others, you are great! Was nice to see you there playing drumms. By the way I see you very often at the Continental, one day I asked you how does it feel to play with Chuck, and here you go! Thanks, keep on rocking David!
do you have a full recording of this, like in mp3 format? this is the best thing i've heard from recent chuck. i'd love to hear the full thing.
