2009 less 800 = 1209 A.D. During the period Chinggis Khagan prevailed. He was succeeded by his son Ogedei Khan & attained Imperial rights 2 rule areas east from Karakoram (Eastern Asia). Ogedei became a close spiritual frd with Kunga Gyaltsen (Sakya Pandita). Ogedie was succeeded by Qublai Khan (son of Tolui, younger brother of Ogedei). Tengri was the 'middle kingdom', or 'center force' then.

5000 yrs back there were Qiang nomads & Tu Yu Hun(Azha Tibetans) in Kokonor area who never had harmony with Chinese Warlords and Dynasties. They always had unharmonious relation. The birth of China as a Nation took place at end of 19th Century, when the prolific writers like Liang Qichao and Kang Youwei tried to manipulate and inculcate the pride in holding a pure race or origin as huangzhong focusing on Han majority reminding them about fear of lineage extinction.

Dear roycalla, Thank you very much for using the term 'Tibet' instead of 'Xi-zhang'. Terminology matters a lot, please read/study the original Tang, Yuan, Ming, Sung and Qing historical annals...then we can: sing for a while, sit for while, smoke for while talk for a while eat for while drink for a while and if energy permits... talk Tibet forever.
