Born in Canada but now an American. Much respect for the Canadian military that goes out there and gets the job done. Sadly the Canadian military does not get the benifits that their fellow soldiers here in the USA get. All the more reason to hold your heads high, you guys are trully fighting for pride and honor. I have friends and family in different branches of U.S special forces, and they often tell me that JTF2 are amongst the best in the world.
W.O. Roberge was my C.O. in the military, well one of them anyways, sometimes it feels like dream then i see his picture and his grave site and it hits me like i just found out. These videos are great to help remember those who have fallen. I think it's amazing that you've taken the time to remember all those who have fallen in the line of duty since this war started.
Great video, I know that that sounds weird but I mean because many of the soldiers that have died have been forgotten, and this just reminds everybody who has died and the price of war. Just a general question, and I don't medan to be offensive to anyone in any way. What is a Trooper? And what rank are they I.e. What rank are they under above etc.
What I am doing know is I am going through a military organization called Air Cadets so far I am a Corporal but soon I'll be leaving with a scholarship for the military University in Ontario for Infantry trainning and R.I.P. to all armed forces even the ones we are fighting ( weird thing to say I know but if it were your mother/sister/father/brother/whatever it may be wouldn't you like to people care about them even when they don't know them think about that )
a lot of good men of women died in the past 8 years and im posting this on the april- 03-10 ( 03:13 ) I'm going to join the army and a lot of people look at me and say why is he joining the army or they'll come up to me and be like hey why is it you want to do this and i look them in the eyes and say I'm doing this for everyone not for myself, I don't care what happens to me only to what happens to others ( probably explains why I have so many friends, here and around the world )
I know the friendly fire deaths are accidents but it is still BS. Their are way too many of them. It also seems that once everyone leaves the terrorists will just go back to Afghanistan and Iraq which really sucks.
Thank you for this post. As an American with strong family routes to Canada I want you to recognize that not all of America is unaware of the efforts of the Canadian Forces around the world. I also make my best effort to open the eyes of Americans to the real contributions Canadians make which are often overlooked in our media. God Bless these men and women who serve their nation and mankind in the cause of good.
These people paid the ultimate price for the freedom that Canada stands for. We did not Invade, we did not send them billions of dollars to fight the Soviets, but we will be there when they need their rights preserved. Oh, Canada, We stand on guard...
not enough credit goes to the men & women that serve in the canadian forces. many of these people are under 30 years old and that is really young. many are not much older than me. thank you to all who have served in our forces and our fallen soldiers.
God bless these brave men and women. My our thoughts and prayers be with their families, and a nation of pride help them hold their heads up high and their hands on their hearts.
Great tribute to the men and women of our military, I'm proud of them for what they've done and my thoughts and prayers go to the families of each one.

@G8D7 A Trooper is equivalent to the rank of private. It is the name of the rank of Private in the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps.
