  • Yes I agree these cultures do smell. I found min on Ebay also that's the best place to get them.

  • can i get this at my local petco?

  • eewww...moving peanut butter!!

  • Do you find the culture is more productive if you use bread instead of oatmeal? What's that brown thing laying across the bread?

  • WTF is that!!!

  • omg weird i found this video. this last night just out of the blue i asked myself what is small enough to feed fry. =D yay im happy =p

  • where did you get them? And do they smell (as in are they rank?)?

  • @bettacrazy I ordered them on ebay actually as most pet stores don't carry them. And yes they DO smell rank. You kinda get used to it though.

  • @Agarwaen777 I've heard that they smell less if you add yeast to the culture. I don't know if it's true or not, though, because mine have never smelled. I put them in a tupperware container, put a paper napkin over the top, and then put the lid (which has holes in it) on. They don't smell.

  • step by step next time please

  • fake

  • ummm... how is that fake? Ask anyone who works at a pet store and they will tell you otherwise.

  • Fake and gaaaaay

  • @Hotpants1231 youre fake and gay.

  • @Carmador its not fake they are really small you can barely see them at all

  • wow...

  • lol sick so they just apear

    ?

  • are those harmhul to humans??

  • How did you start it ? Just peanut butter and bread...?And how long does it take for them to appear?

  • They dont just appear you have to buy a culture of them from ebay, online stores, or speciality aquarium fish stores. All you do is prepare the bread(medium) and place the microworms on it and boom!! (Semi) Instant fry food....(wait a week)

BTW: The so called (Peanut Butter) I believe is the Microworms

  • what are micro worms?

  • I have Microworm Cultures for sale. I have both starter cultures and ready to harvest cultures. Please check out my website microwormcultures(dot)com

  • OMG PEANUT BUTTER ON TOAST THAT IS SO FREAKING AWESOME! lol jk nice worm XD

  • yuuuuuuuuuuum vomit on toast

  • want B long till I have fry how do I start microworms where do I get them can I make my own?

  • search on the internet for making microworms then just buy the culture, the rest is up to you my friend.

  • on ebay its all there for like 3 bucks hehe

  • looks like some one vomited on two pieces of toast! lol. cant you produce microworms just by decaying food?

  • haha no that would be spontaneous reproductive.

    proven wrong by Louis Pasteur

  • ya u have to have the culture of a microworm culture get onto the bread somehow, they dont just appear

  • were did you go to get them?

i want to mate my bettas but i need to know how to feed them and how to get it

  • They're hard to find. I had to have mine shipped from the UK. Some pet stores may carry them though. I'm afraid I can't send you any, my idiot brother let them die while I was on vacation.

  • hey. i have a microworm start culture how long can is last without make the worm come to live?. thank you

  • if the culture is already wet, regardless if it is in a package, then the worms are already alive, in which case, depending on how long they have lived already and how big the container is, they should be able to live for another week or so. You can keep growing and harvesting them though, so it's not like you only have one shot.

  • i have a starter cluture already what do i need to do to make more and what temperture should i keep them in?

  • They can usually live at room temperature. If you can live in it, so can they. Put some bread (whole wheat or white) into a gallon ice-cream tub, or the equivalent. Punch some small holes in the top to allow for some air circulation. Then soak the bread with water (make sure it is distilled, you can do this by letting the water sit in a container for two days). Put a pinch of yeast on the bread to give the worms something to eat (this is optional). Then dump the culture on top. Keep it moist.

  • just to tell you. those wads of white things are maggots i believe. flys come and lay their eggs in their, i get a lot of maggots into my microworms alot until i covered it with a top.

  • Oh, that's just a glare from the light. The liquid itself is moving because of the microworms, but there are no maggots in the culture. I don't have flies in my room and microworms are nematodes (roundworms), meaning they do not pupate.

  • oh. okays. i got some maggots in mine thing until i put a lid with no holes on it. but the maggots were a good use to me too fedthem to my bettas too... good food source

  • hey, how di du make that btw? do u think u could pm me plz if u have the time becuse ive been looking on the internet for some answers but i can't really find and answers unless i buy some products off some online shops.. anyway thx for ur time

  • You can't make the culture unless you have a starter culture of worms... it's a lot like making yogurt.
