@nervepoison65 I'm glad you liked the video. This is a basic drawing exercise I did in art school long ago. It taught me that lines can represent shading and illumination. To this day, I still think it is one good exercise and teach it to my basic drawing students.

OK, the way I teach..I teach to see. In this exercise, it is a skill to learn for shading with lines. If you want to learn how to draw anything, you have to learn how to see. I'm going to start making videos about this in the new year. I think it is very important that people that want to learn how to draw or paint, learn how to see, because then they can draw or paint anything in their world.
