Amy Macdonald is the best artist I've seen come along in quite some time. Her melodies are very good and her lyrics are outstanding; she writes with the wisdom well beyond her years. The first few months I listened to her I imagined a 40ish woman. Then I caught her on an interview and was azamed at her youth. She is exceptional and deserves more acclaim in The States. But then, Europeans have a far better appreciation for good music.

Saw Amy as the opening act for Lady Gaga at the Yran Music Festival in Ostersund Sweden last month and she was freaking amazing. "This is the Life" is the worst song on the whole CD. Plus she did two great covers, Mr. Brightside and Dancing in the Dark. She was the highlight of the 3 days.
