Not much has been released yet about what items there are going to be available but they clearly stated these items will be purely cosmetic they will not give you benefits over people that play without paying in the store.
Guild Wars 2 is shaping up to be a very diverse MMORPG, and by that I mean its races. Races are an important part of MMOs. They offer options to the player. We have gone over the races that we will have the opportunity to play as, but many of us have forgotten about the other races. We will be able to explore their villages and cities, accept quests from them, and even meet them on the battlefield. (BTW, check out guildwars2beta . org for open beta keys)
I honestly cant wait for this since i abandoned stupid wow at cataclysm i am looking forward for this game and what i like the most is...That ill buy it once and never pay again for it.

It must be a great game, but the project is taking too long, I think they are working on it since one of the first GW expansions. I hope it turn out to be a revolution in terms of MMORPG.

@brunopiccinin i believe you are refering to the clones, correct? if so, the asura summons clones, an illusion that looks exactly like your character and have a name place, used to cause a distraction and shatter to apply effects. The sylvar conjoured phantasms, these "clones" are muc hstrong, deal more damage and have muc hmore health, but they do not look like your character, they have that pale translucent purple effect and attack only the target the mesmer summoned them on. Hope that helped~

@PenguinsOwnFace It's a 'reveal' trailer. so to be exact it wasn't really those trailers you normaly see out there. with the epic fights and voice overlays. It was just to give you a brief look at what it would almost be like. To be honest I thought it looked great!

@Robchappell88 the "mage" class coudl be any of the three scholars, mesmer, elementalist and necromancer. in WoW terms, elementalist = mage but so much better. necro = warlock, more death oriented than shadow magic.

It must be a great game, but the project is taking too long, I think they are working on it since one of the first GW expansions. I hope it turn out to be a revolution in terms of MMORPG.
PS: The third and the fourth skill shown on this video are the same? They seem so.

@brunopiccinin i believe you are refering to the clones, correct? if so, the asura summons clones, an illusion that looks exactly like your character and have a name place, used to cause a distraction and shatter to apply effects. The sylvar conjoured phantasms, these "clones" are muc hstrong, deal more damage and have muc hmore health, but they do not look like your character, they have that pale translucent purple effect and attack only the target the mesmer summoned them on. Hope that helped~

To be quite frank anyone who HAS looked at this game in detail and thinks there's really any serious competition for it in the market is a fool.
(And no I'm not bias or a `fanboy`, I bloody HATED guild wars one with a passion, I played WoW for 5 damn years).
It's just annoying that it is taking so long to be released, ah well... Suppose ANet are trying to create thee `perfect game/MMO`... And once you really do look at it in detail, you being to think that it is next generation.

@TheGrimstalker Dont take the combat of the video too serious, you wont oneshot them ingame like they did on the video. They purposely fought weaker enemies with higher character to demonstrate the skill effects and to make it look immense. I rather think its going to be a funny skill in PvP and probably used in some very unique ways in pve. You know some dungeon might need something like this pull in a way
