u all need to realize that this song was probably autotuned aswell.. he just don't have the "tpain" effect on this one. if ur skilled w autotune u can make a person that actually cant hit a note sing reasonably well, and if u don't have a very trained ear u won't have a clue about it.

no biggie thou. autotune is used in almost all mainstream vocals nowadays. if u don't use it u sound "demo".

Yeah , not eVERYONE uses auto tune to the T pain extent. But yes, you're right this song was autotuned as well. They simply didn't use the pitch shifter effect.

Auto-tune is nothing but a pitch correcter, it doesn't make a bad singer good. When you turn the smoothness effect down you get the effect T-Pain uses. Many pop singers use it as well as singers that tour extensively.

Even if that is true, he still sounds good. Auto-Tune is no miracle worker. I've heard Lil Wayne use it and he sounds like crap. Even Kanye doesn't sound as good as this. On the other hand, I've heard Justin Timberlake using it and he sounds as good as he does without it.
