Ok you should have definately won, heres my reasoning, the first place vid was edited sick and camera was crystal clear, but its a video carving editing contest, and he had NO STYLE and next to NO CARVING in his video!! You had style to the max and carved it up to the max along with sick scenery and editing, Im sorry adam c. but you made a mistake. AND SKATE DISTRICT CAN SUCK IT AND GO TRASH THEIR BEARINGS IN SOME WATER

joeygillen did a great job with his video. The skating and style may have been more original as you say, but you have to remember this was strictly a filming and editing competition, there was never any part of it that stated "carving competition." It was made that way in order to ensure all participants had a fair shot at the filming and editing competition. I don't know about you but...I can carve, but some of the tricks people pull on a longboard blow me out of the water.
