Hey there, can you let me know where did you get this video please?
The solo is absolutely awesome (the best on this song in my opinion) but I can't find it anywhere.
I got the SAME song of the SAME concert on the dvd "dubroom special" but the solo is cut!! The video goes directly to Napoleon dancing after the solo. I can't find it anywhere :3
This was recorded at what was then KCET channel 28 PBS TV studios in Los Angeles for a fund raiser/membership drive in August 1974. They also performed Florentine Pogen @/watch?v=53CuDan5UDs, and wouldn't you know, the film footage for that song is nearly perfect, nothing like this one; aint that a bitch? It seems sometimes that the greatest moments, music or otherwise, defy being captured/recorded. But at least we have this much of it and still love it Absolutely Timeless stuff. FZ's da shit
I REALLY wonder what the audience was thinking when the black guy took over the show at 3:32! Must of been trippy if you was on something! Really intertaining stuff, and the bassline in the verse are epicly groovy!
nobuddy duz it like frank. love this man. there is absolutely nobody alive today in the music scene with his originality and vision and style. too bad he isn't around today to give us his take on the present day madness, but then, a lot of his lyrics are timeless
a genius....and always had a great band..."how bout you over there?"....you could not play with Frank if you could not play...that sounds stupid but you really had to know how to PLAY if you played with Frank....

Gonna keep the wax and melt it down...
yeah baby it's gonna be a whole new homestead style
dentifrice cultivation
domesticated pigmy pony
quadrapedal labor dividing
civilization.
Do it.

What great backup vocals! Although I wish there was video of Tina doing it.
